Brown-beige, pale corn yellow, deep blue, raspberry pink, meadow green and white
A rare old flatweave from the Qashqai tribe of southwestern Iran, with a design of 3 diamond medallions. It benefits from a delicate color palette, and a beautiful “laleh” and
zigzag border. The beige wool could be undyed camel-hair. And this piece was probably intended as “sofreh” for the all-important wedding ceremony.
