A deep garnet red combined with a range of blues — from rich indigo to soft teal — all highlighted by an astonishing abrash
effect
This rare and delicate kilim originates from the Thrace region — historically part of the Ottoman Empire and now within the borders of modern-day Bulgaria — often
referred to as "Sarkoy".
It features a simplified yet graceful Tree of Life motif. The colors are enriched by a striking abrash — the natural variation in dye that lends antique kilims their distinctive depth and character.
Light, refined, and unusually fine in weave this kilim should be handled with care.
