This is a traditional flat-woven piece typically made in rural regions of Iran. It features
vertical stripes in deep brown and cream, creating a rhythmic and almost meditative visual structure. These stripes are characteristic of jajims, which are often woven in narrow panels
and later stitched together to form a larger piece. Scattered geometric motifs in red, pink, and blue—diamonds, animals and stars—suggest tribal symbolism tied to protection,
fertility, or elements of nature. Woven in wool, the textile was used as a cover, floor spread, or decorative hanging.
