Natural white background and multicolor grid design

This rug is made using the “rag rug” technique, it means that the weft of the rug is made from recycled textiles (sweaters, etc.) of different materials and colors. The colors are sometimes visible between the knots of natural wool, which are fairly spaced and loose. This lends a distinctive charm to this type of carpet, as does the free, non-rigid grid pattern, an essential element of Berber weavers’ style. The wool pile is low, and the size is perfect for our modern home.
